A beautiful vintage four drawer chest featuring a light warm cherry finish and timeless Colonial Revival styling. Its tall, relatively narrow profile offers generous storage without requiring the footprint of a full-size dresser, making it especially well suited for bedrooms, guest rooms, nurseries, or smaller spaces.
The chest features four spacious graduated dovetail drawers, a divided two compartment top drawer, each finished with craftsman round wooden knobs that complement the warm natural character of the wood. Subtle molded trim separates the upper and lower portions of the case, while the slightly overhanging top, lower paneled drawer front, and shaped bracket base give the piece a traditional Early American influence. The restrained design allows the grain and warm amber brown coloring to take center stage rather than relying on ornate decoration.
The sides have a lovely vertical board appearance that adds to its traditional character, while the clean lines keep the overall look versatile enough to work beautifully in Colonial Revival, Early American, English Country, cottage, traditional, or collected eclectic interiors.

The chest is in excellent vintage condition with only minor signs or wear with the tabletop having just been refinished; minor nicks along the frame edge, minor discoloration area on the front right foot bracket - see pictures carefully. A satin polyurethane topcoat has been applied throughout to protect and preserve the finish.
