A handsome vintage mahogany end table featuring classic Federal detailing, a warm leather inset top, one deep storage drawer, and elegant oval Hepplewhite style brass ring pulls.
The table has a beautifully proportioned case raised on four slender tapered legs with carved architectural detailing at the knees and subtle blocked accents near the feet. The dark mahogany finish contrasts beautifully with the warm caramel-brown leather top, which is finished with an ornate gold tooled border for a traditional library or English estate feel.
A deep dovetailed drawer provides convenient concealed storage while maintaining the table’s compact profile. Brass ring pulls add another traditional detail to the neoclassical design. These details give it the wonderful character that works especially well in traditional, English country, Ralph Lauren inspired, Federal, and collected interiors. Circa 1940s.
A versatile size for use beside a sofa or chair, as an accent table in a library or study, or as a distinctive bedside table.

The table is in great vintage condition with only minor signs of wear; minor nicks, some texture variation on the trim framing the leather top. A satin polyurethane topcoat has been applied throughout to protect and preserve the finish.
