A beautifully crafted vintage mahogany tambour door server cabinet by The Elgin A. Simmons Company of Syracuse, New York. Circa 1940s.
Featuring a gracefully serpentine front, rich crotch mahogany grain movement, delicate satinwood string inlay, solid brass embossed eagle bail pulls, and a pair of smooth operating tambour doors, this cabinet showcases the refined craftsmanship that Simmons furniture is known for. The original manufacturer badge and interior paper label identifying the wood as Honduras Mahogany remain intact.
The spacious drawer above provides convenient storage for linens, serving pieces, or office essentials, while the tambour doors reveal a generous open storage compartment lined in its original green finish.
The table is in excellent original antique condition with very minimal signs of wear; very minor surface scratches.
