This matching pair of vintage Kling nightstands features warm cherry tones, beautifully varied grain, and classic turned legs. Each table has a rectangular top with softly rounded edges, a single dovetail drawer, and an open lower shelf, combining practical bedside storage with an airy silhouette.
The drawer fronts feature raised molding and brass bail pulls, adding a simple decorative touch against the richly colored wood. Shaped turnings along the legs give the pair their distinctive traditional character, while the lower shelves provide space for books, baskets, or decorative accessories.
Each table offers enclosed storage for smaller essentials and an accessible shelf below, making them useful beside a bed or as matching end tables flanking a sofa. Their warm finish works beautifully with traditional, Early American, farmhouse, country, historic home and cottage interiors.
The pair retains Kling identification from Mayville, New York, along with a label specifying solid genuine cherry for all exposed wooden parts.
22 inches deep
16.5 inches wide
26 inches tall
The tables are in great vintage condition with only minor signs of wear with the tabletops having just been refinished; minor scratches/nicks on the lower shelves - see pics. A satin polyurethane topcoat has been applied throughout to protect and preserve the finish.
