A wonderfully distinctive vintage accent table featuring a decorative equestrian motif and beautifully slender proportions. Crafted in a warm elm wood, the table stands on four long, subtly tapered square legs and includes a single front drawer fitted with a brass drop pull and working lock with key.
The tabletop is the focal point of the piece, decorated with a charming sporting scene depicting a traditional saddle surrounded by a coiled hunting horn. Turquoise blue and deep burgundy geometric borders frame the central design, creating a striking contrast against the natural wood grain. Additional painted square accents and the wide outer border give the top an almost folk art quality while maintaining a refined English sporting aesthetic.
A single drawer provides convenient storage while retaining the table's narrow, graceful profile. The drawer front is simply detailed with a fine linear border, allowing the decorative top to remain the centerpiece.
This table would be especially at home in an English, country, equestrian, traditional, Ralph Lauren, hunt-country, lodge, collected, or eclectic interior. Its relatively small footprint makes it particularly versatile as a chairside table, entry accent, bedside table, or decorative pedestal.
18 inches wide
16 inches deep
27 inches tall
The table is in excellent condition with very minimal signs of wear; very minor flaws, nothing of note. A satin polyurethane topcoat has been applied throughout to protect and preserve the original finish.
