An elegant vintage Federal mahogany sideboard crafted by Councill Craftsmen, a maker known for fine traditional furniture. This piece features a serpentine front with two central drawers, flanked by bow front cabinet doors, and is adorned with brass oval pulls. Delicate satinwood inlay borders along the edges and bellflower inlays down the tapered legs adds refinement and craftsmanship. The sideboard comes complete with a functional skeleton key for the locking compartments adding both security and an authentic vintage touch. Circa 1960's. Metal plaque inside top drawer reads "Councill Craftsmen".
The table is in excellent original condition with very minimal signs of wear; note a small piece of the checkerboard inlay border on the bottom right side edge is missing.
