A beautifully crafted vintage Swedish waterfall chest of drawers featuring warm walnut grain, elegant curved waterfall sides, decorative geometric trim, and classic brass hardware. This piece blends Art Deco design with the clean lines and functionality that made Swedish furniture highly sought after throughout the mid century period.
The chest offers four spacious drawers for ample storage while maintaining a relatively compact footprint. Decorative contrasting banding and bookmatched veneer details add visual interest and showcase the thoughtful craftsmanship characteristic of vintage Swedish furniture.
Its versatile size makes it ideal as a bedroom dresser, entryway chest, living room storage piece, or statement accent cabinet. The rich walnut tones pair effortlessly with traditional, eclectic, Art Deco, and modern interiors alike. Circa late 1940s. The back retains the artist's initials.
The chest is in great vintage condition with minimal signs of wear; minor faded finish area on the very top - see pic, minor scratches/scuffs mostly on the side edge & feet. A satin polyurethane topcoat has been applied throughout to protect and preserve the finish.
