A vintage Chinoiserie style demi-lune cabinet featuring a black lacquered finish and hand-painted gold details that entail outdoor oriental scenes depicting birds, a bridge, a weeping willow tree and more. The table provides storage space in the form of a single dovetail drawer and two tiers of shelving enclosed by a single cabinet door, the top shelf being adjustable. The half round shaped cabinet stands on tapering, brass capped square feet. Inside the drawer, labels read "Imperial Grand Rapids Michigan" and "Made in Grand Rapids". Circa 1940's.
The chest is in excellent vintage condition with very minimal signs of wear.
