A charming antique Victorian marble top washstand chest dating to the mid 1800s. This piece features three spacious drawers adorned with decorative brass and ebony style drop pulls, a solid white marble top, and its original porcelain casters that allow the chest to be moved with ease.
One of its most distinctive features is the original pull-out towel bar concealed within the side, a hallmark of period washstands that were commonly used in bedrooms before indoor plumbing became widespread. The turned corner details, scalloped apron, raised molding drawer faces, and warm walnut finish give the piece a refined yet practical presence.
Whether used as a bedside chest, entryway accent, bathroom storage piece, or statement cabinet, this Victorian treasure offers both functionality and history. Circa 1870s.

The chest is in excellent original antique condition with only minor signs or wear; minor nicks, some age wear on the marble top, 2 holes in the marble top back edge where a mirror was once attached, a split panel on the left cabinet side has been repaired and stabilized.
