Full of character and beautiful craftsmanship, this antique oak side table dates to approximately 1890–1910, bridging the late Victorian and early Edwardian periods.
Crafted in solid oak, the table features an especially decorative scalloped and shaped top that showcases the warm color and prominent natural grain of the wood. Four slender bobbin turned, or spool turned, legs create an intricate architectural profile, with repeated ring turnings extending nearly the full length of each leg.
A shaped lower shelf echoes the curves of the tabletop while adding both visual interest and useful display space. A versatile size and design make this piece ideal as a side table, lamp table, occasional table, plant stand, bedside table, or decorative accent table. Its combination of warm oak, scalloped edges, and elaborate turnings works especially well in Victorian, English country, cottage, traditional, collected, and eclectic interiors.

The tables are in excellent original antique condition with very minimal signs of wear with the tabletop having just been refinished; age cracks in the top and lower shelf have been repaired from underneath and remain sturdy. A satin polyurethane topcoat has been applied throughout to protect and preserve the original finish.
