An elegant antique mahogany flip-top console table blends statement Empire styling with practical functionality. The flame mahogany apron add a touch of elegance, while the pedestal base atop carved round feet give the piece a timeless, traditional presence. The table features a hinged flip-top design that opens to create a larger square surface, revealing a hidden storage compartment inside. This clever construction makes it perfect as a hallway console, entry table, compact game table, or small dining table. Circa 1890.

The antique table is in great antique condition with only minor signs of wear; faded section in the center of the console tabletop, one of the hinges had to be replaced, minor nicks on the game table surface. A satin polyurethane topcoat has been applied throughout to protect & preserve the original finish.
