A rare antique walnut and cherry chest of drawers featuring stunning burl wood details and contrasting warm walnut tones. The top drawer showcases crossbanded burl panels, while the second drawer features a beautifully shaped burl medallion resembling the shape of a bullhorn, a rare and eye-catching design element. The solid cherry wood tabletop, gently scalloped apron and shaped backsplash add character while the original casters and turned front legs add practicality and charm. The piece offers storage in the form of four spacious dovetail drawers showcasing Hepplewhite style oval brass pulls. Circa 1880's.

The chest is in excellent antique condition with only minor signs of wear; a few small wood fill repairs present - see pics. The chest has just been refinished and a satin polyurethane has been applied throughout to protect and preserve the finish.
