A lovely antique quarter sawn oak washstand featuring solid wood construction displaying wood grain and a gracefully curved front apron with classic country style side paneling. The table stands on square back legs and slightly curved front legs, all with the original white casters. Storage is offered in the form of a single dovetail drawer, displaying the original ornate brass bail pulls, over paneled double cabinet doors enclosing a spacious shelf. Circa 1910's. Made by Kernersville Furniture in Kernersville, NC.

The chest is in excellent antique condition, exhibiting minor signs of wear consistent with age; dark colored area on tabletop, dark colored area on shelf inside cabinet doors, slight separation in wood panel on left cabinet door.
