An elegant collectible pair of vintage nightstands by Genova Furniture Company of Brooklyn, New York. These beautifully crafted cabinets feature graceful serpentine curved fronts, ornate carved bases, and delicate French Provincial styling that adds warmth and sophistication. Each cabinet showcases stunning bookmatched burl walnut with rich grain movement and warm golden undertones. The doors open to reveal interior shelving for practical bedside storage, while the side compartments include divided storage. Circa 1940's.
The tables are in great original vintage condition with only minor signs of wear; the finish is diminished on the right side of one of the tables- see pic, minor nicks/scratches, minor wood fill repair on the top back edge of one- see pic. A satin polyurethane topcoat has been applied throughout on both to protect and preserve the original finish.
