A charming pair of antique bedside tables thoughtfully repurposed from an early 20th century vanity. Originally forming the two drawer pedestals of a larger dressing table, the vanity was carefully separated to create a wonderfully versatile pair of tall, narrow nightstands while preserving the character and craftsmanship of the original piece.
Each table features three functional drawers, including an upper drawer accented with a petite round knob and two lower drawers fitted with unique decorative ring pulls. Slender turned front legs, original wooden casters, softly rounded front corners, and shaped gallery backs give the pair an elegant silhouette with distinctly antique character. Traditional dovetail joinery is visible in the drawer construction and speaks to their early craftsmanship. Circa 1910-1925.
A beautiful combination of antique craftsmanship and modern functionality, perfect for a traditional, Victorian, English country, Colonial Revival, or collected eclectic bedroom.
The tables are in great antique condition with only minor signs of wear; some minor nicks, one tabletop has a minor ring and the other tabletop has an irregular area of finish- see pics. A satin polyurethane topcoat has been applied throughout to protect and preserve the original finish.
